Does Bubbles work like a patch?

When you come to Bubbles, don’t imagine a cleaner or a patrol! A self-service laundry is a bit like doing laundry at home, only with larger capacity machines, faster and much more efficient!

What does Bubbles self-service mean?

Our laundries are not permanently staffed. You have to do the washing or drying yourself. Don’t worry, all you have to do is follow the simple instructions on the paying terminal. If you have any problems, please contact our customer service team on the number provided.

What is a Bubbles paying terminal?

The paying terminal is the hub of Bubbles’ automated system. Here you can select the machine you want to use and pay, register, top up your balance and use coupons.

What are the benefits of registering with Bubbles?

With Bubbles registration, you can use our services easily and always at a significantly reduced price. In addition, many other conveniences are available to you with just one click through the My.Bubbles interface.

How do I register with Bubbles?

All you need to do is enter your email address and password of your choice and register with these details at the in-store payment machine, Bubbles app or My.Bubbles. These two details are worth remembering, as you will be able to log in to your Bubbles account quickly and conveniently from anywhere online, via the phone app or at the in-store payment machine.

What should I do if I forget my password?

First of all, try to retrieve your mailbox reminder from the email address info@bubbles.hu you received after signing up. You are the only person who can request a new password via the my.bubbles.hu interface by clicking on the “Forgot your password?” question and entering your registered email address. If you have a Gmail email address, you may receive an email in the Spam or Promotion folder.

Can I use the internet at Bubbles?

 Yes, we offer free WiFi access in most of our stores! Look for the in-store WiFi board and use the password on it to connect! WiFi access may vary from store to store, please check the store’s subpage for details. 

Do the laundrettes have toilets?

There are no toilets available in our shops.

Please use our shops as intended! Only stay in our shops when you are using our services. When you are finished, please leave a tidy space behind you and give the space to the next person.

What should I do if I notice any anomalies or problems?

In this case, send us an email to info@bubbles.hu! If you need an immediate solution, call our customer service!

How are our washing machines different from those at home?

In our laundries we use industrial washing machines with a capacity twice (11 kg small machines) or three times (16 kg large machines) larger than domestic washing machines. Most laundries have 3 small and 1 large washing machines. Thanks to the professional settings, washing programmes are faster, but still more efficient than at home.

How do I start a wash? Very easy!

Put the laundry in the machine, then close the door with a firm movement!

On the small touch screen on the washing machine, select a washing programme!

Go to the paying terminal and choose the right machine (the one you’ve pre-loaded)! If you’re already a regular customer, log in to your Bubbles loyalty account first.

Pay into your ballance!

Attention!

1) The payment machine returns to the home page after 2 minutes in inactive mode. Therefore it is important that you follow the instructions above!

2) The payout is active for 5 minutes. So, if you do not follow the instructions above and you need to go back to the machine after the payment, you have 5 minutes. Otherwise, the paid program will be cancelled and you will have to restart the transaction.

How can I pay?

By cash or credit cards, debit card. As a regular customer, you can also pay from your balance (you can pay into your balance online HERE or at the payment machine).

What banknotes does the machine accept?

You can use HUF 500 and HUF 1,000 banknotes for payment, while the machine accepts HUF 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 banknotes for topping up your balance.

How long does a wash take?

Our washing programmes last approximately 30-40 minutes. Thanks to the professional settings, the wash programmes are faster but still more efficient than those at home.

How do I know when the washing is finished?

First, you can keep track of the time left in the programme on the machine’s display. Secondly, when the programme is finished, the machine beeps and automatically opens the door.

What can I wash in your washing machine?

Almost anything that can be washed in a wet washing machine. Our machines can wash not only clothes, but also almost all small and large household textiles. For example: curtains, bedspreads, duvets, pillows, various blankets, sleeping bags, towels, kitchen towels, etc.

Please don’t put in the machine:

Carpets – especially rag rugs. You can use the designated washing machines for washing animal hair textiles. For a list of shops available for washing animal hair textiles, click here.

Do I need to bring extra detergent?

The system automatically dispenses the detergents for the different programmes. The Bubbles Laundry System uses an exclusive detergent dispensing technology that dispenses disinfectant, neutralizer, degreaser, detergent and rinse aid for each programme in addition to the detergent. You cannot and should not use your own detergent.

Can people with sensitive skin use our detergents?

We use liquid detergents that are easier to release from clothes during rinsing. We add a disinfectant to every wash, which disinfects both the clothes and the drum during the wash and before rinsing. Our detergents are not specialized to sensitive skin users, but you can use our vegan washing machines soon.

What kind of washing programmes do you use?

You can choose from 7 programmes according to the type of garment or textile you want to wash:

WHITE 60 degrees,

COLOUR 40 degrees,

WHITE 40 degrees,

DELICATE 30 degrees,

LINEN 35 degrees,

CONTAMINATED 60 degrees,

DISINFECTANT 60 degrees.

How should I put it in the machine?

Although the capacity of the machines is given in load weight, you should also pay attention to the volume of your laundry. If you’ve loaded the laundry into the drum and you can still fit your hand on top, you haven’t overloaded it.

Can I make a reservation?

Yes! As a registered regular customer, through the My.Bubbles interface.

What dryers are available in the laundries?

We have two types of dryers: 16 kg and 25 kg. The 16 kg capacity machines are for wet clothes that are transferred from the 11 kg washing machines, while the 25 kg capacity dryers are for the amount of textiles that are transferred into the 16 kg washing machines. Please never transfer textiles washed in a larger washing machine to a smaller dryer, as overloading will greatly reduce the drying efficiency!

How do I start a drying process?

It is extremely simple:

Put the wet clothes and textiles in the machine and close the door.

Put the dry clothes into the machine and close the door. You can choose between 65 and 90 degrees, with 6 temperature levels.

Go to the paying terminal and select the machine you have pre-loaded! If you’re already a regular customer, log in to your Bubbles account first!

How can I pay?

With cash (which can be both metallic and paper money) or credit cards in stores that accept credit cards. As a regular customer, you can also pay for the service from your balance (you can top up your balance online HERE or at the payment machine). The payment process is very simple, just follow the instructions of the payment machine!

What banknotes does the vending machine accept?

You can use HUF 500 and HUF 1,000 banknotes for payment, while the machine accepts HUF 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 banknotes for topping up your balance.

How long does a drying programme take?

Our drying programmes are all 37 minutes – the price covers this amount of drying time. The drying time is fixed, but you can stop the programme during this time and take out the clothes if necessary. During a drying cycle, we recommend you open the door a maximum of once, which you must close again within 1 minute, otherwise the programme will be cancelled and you will have to pay again. Watch out! Clothes can get hot in the drum, especially metal parts (e.g. buckles, zips, etc.).

How do I know when the program is over?

For one thing, you can keep track of the time remaining in the programme on the machine’s display. On the other hand, when the programme has finished, the machine beeps every minute until you open the door.

What should I do if my clothes are not drying?

Our experts have set the drying time to the right temperature for drying the right quantity and quality of clothes. However, for effective drying, it is essential that you load the machine correctly. If your clothes still remain damp and you feel it’s necessary, you can start a new programme.

How to use the tumble dryer

How should I put it in the tumble dryer? It is very important not to overfill the machine! We also advise to avoid wrinkles in your clothes. Also, it is a good idea to separate and dry the more difficult to dry fabrics, such as towels, bathrobes, thick blankets, jeans, etc., from the other garments or textiles. It is also worth taking care not to leave any knots on the clothes, as this can also hinder drying.

Can I make a reservation?

Yes! As a registered regular customer, you can book a machine through My.Bubbles or our Bubbles Laundry application.

Do you have a machine that washes and dries at the same time?

No, we have separate washing and drying machines. You have to start and pay for the washing and drying programmes separately. Of course, you can choose to wash only or dry only.

Which products can be washed on the washing and drying machines dedicated to animal hair textiles?

You can wash your pet’s cushions, soft toys, beds, blankets.

Which textiles cannot be washed?

We cannot wash larger textiles not intended for pets (e.g. horse blankets).

Is there a surcharge for this service?

No, the price for washing and drying pet fur textiles is the same as our normal prices and our coupons and promotions can be used for these washes as well.

What are the washing programmes?

You can choose from 6 programmes depending on the textile you want to wash:

Delicate, with fragrance 30°

Normal with fragrance 40°

Contaminated, with fragrance 60°.

Delicate, unscented 30°

Normal, unscented 40°

Contaminated, unscented 60°

 

Can I make a reservation?

Unfortunately, no reservations are possible. We recommend that you download the Bubbles App and check the current availability before departure!

 

Where is the service available?

You can check the current list at https:/bubbles.hu/allatszoros-mosas. The service was launched in 5 locations in Budapest, but we’re extending our network continously.

 

Which machines are available, how do I know which one to use?

In the laundry and in the app, we have marked the pet hair washing and drying machines separately. Just look for the paw!

 

What do I need to pay attention to when washing and drying?

Please note that your pet’s textiles will be spotlessly clean after washing, but may have some hair residue left on them.

If there are any hairs left in the machine drum after use, please wipe the machine after yourself!

Please do not shake the fabric to be cleaned in the laundry! Take care of the cleanliness!

What is the Bubbles registered users programme?

With the Bubbles registered users programme, you can use our services simply and always at a significantly reduced price. In addition, many other conveniences are available to you with just one click through the My.Bubbles interface.

How can I become a registered customer at Bubbles?

All you need to do is simply register with a few details at the payment machine in the shops or via the My.Bubbles interface. During registration, the system will ask you for a username and password. The system will automatically offer you a username based on your first and last name, but you do not have to accept this, you can enter any name you like if it is not already taken.

It is worth remembering the username and password, as you will be able to use them to log in to your Bubbles account quickly and conveniently from anywhere online or at the payment machines in the shops.

What should I do if I forget my password? 

Request a password reminder to the email address you provided when you registered, and the system will immediately send you a link to set a new password. You are the only one who knows your new password, the customer service can not see this information. If you have forgotten it, you can only set a new password by requesting a password reminder. For this reason, it is of the utmost importance that the e-mail address you enter when registering is real and that it is verified by clicking on the link in the e-mail sent to you for this purpose. If you have a Gmail address, you may receive an email in the Spam or Promotion folder.

When are you open?

We’re open 0-24, all year round, including weekends and holidays. Some of our shops have different opening hours and are closed at night. In these laundrettes, you have 1 hour before closing to start the last programme. Check the opening hours by clicking HERE!

Attention! You can only enter our non-stop shops at night by SMS code! Look for the SMS access code and instructions for use next to the entrance door.

How much do the services cost?

Please note that our prices may vary from shop to shop! For exact prices, please check the sub-page of the shop you are interested in.

How can I pay?

In our shops you can pay by cash (metallic or paper money) or by credit card. The machines accept coins of 100 and 200 forints and paper money in denominations of 500 and 1,000 forints. As a registered user, you can also pay from your pre-loaded balance. You can top up your balance HERE or in shops via the payment machine. You can use HUF 2,000, HUF 5,000 and HUF 10,000 denominations to top up your balance. You can also use the SimplePay for payment via Bubbles Laundrettes app for machine start-up and balance top-up, or via my.bubbles.hu for balance top-up.

 

How can I request an invoice?

The easiest way to request and download an invoice as a frequent customer is from the My.Bubbles interface. If you are not a regular customer, please submit your account request via https://bubbles.hu/szamlaigeny/. Important: We are not able to issue invoices for items older than 8 days!

In the case of deduction of discounts, the total amount reduced by % will be rounded to HUF 100 as follows: for the total amount ending in HUF 0-49, prices will be rounded downwards, for the total amount ending in HUF 50-99, prices will be rounded upwards.

Can I book a machine in advance?

In most of our laundries it is possible to book a machine in advance. Reservations can only be initiated by registered users, either at the Bubbles mobile app or by logging in at https://my.bubbles.hu.

How far in advance do I need to book?

You can book at least 3 hours before the scheduled time.

Can I apply a coupon discount when I book?

As this is an added convenience, you must pay the current registered user rate when booking, no coupon discounts are available.

When do I have to pay for the service?

You must pay directly at the time of booking at the applicable rate.

How long will the machine be held for me?

In order to ensure that the machine is available at the laundry at the booked time, the machine will be reserved 40 minutes before the booked time and no one else will be able to start the wash. You can arrive earlier and start the washing/drying process earlier! Important: The machine will be available for 10 minutes after the reservation time, if you have not started the machine within 10 minutes the reservation will be cancelled, but the reservation fee will not be refunded, as the machine was blocked for 2 cycles.

How long can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation 2 hours before the booking time and the system will refund the booking fee to your Bubbles balance. After this time, it is no longer possible to cancel the booking!

What do I need to do to start my booking?

Go to the laundry at the time you have booked

Put the clothes in the appropriate machine, which you have been informed about in advance by email.

When you enter the terminal on site, you will only see the machine you have booked. Follow the instructions there and the machine will depart without further payment.

The reserved machine can also be started via the mobile app by scanning the QR code on the machine.

Do I have to wait on site until the washing or drying expires?

No need at all! You can leave your clothes there at your own risk while the washing or drying programme is running. But Bubbles is also a youthful, comfortable, communal space where you can relax on the sofas; chat to friends and acquaintances; use the wifi to surf the net, send emails or just listen to some nice music.
